RaffleReaper respects your privacy. This policy explains how the application accesses and uses Google user data when you connect a Google account.
1. Data Access (Google APIs)
- Google Sheets (read-only): The app reads spreadsheet titles, sheet names, and cell values from spreadsheets that you explicitly choose to import.
- Google Drive (optional): If you enable Google Drive Sync and provide a Drive folder, the app accesses only that user-selected folder to create, update, and download RaffleReaper backup files (e.g., Settings.json and Retailers.zip). The app does not browse unrelated Google Drive files.
- Basic profile information: The app may retrieve basic Google profile information (such as account ID, display name, and profile picture) to display the connected account and support account selection.
2. Data Usage
- Sheets data is used only to import and display task data inside the RaffleReaper desktop application.
- Drive access is used only to back up and restore the application’s settings files in the Google Drive folder you explicitly select when Drive Sync is enabled. It is not used to browse unrelated files in your Google Drive.
- Basic profile information is used only to display the connected account and to remember which account you selected.
3. Data Storage
- OAuth tokens and account/profile information are stored locally in the application’s settings so you do not need to sign in every time.
- If Drive Sync is enabled, the backup files are stored in the Drive folder you select. You can delete these files at any time.
4. Data Sharing
- We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties.
- We do not transmit Google Sheets contents or Google profile data to any developer-operated servers.
- Google data is transmitted only to Google services (OAuth, Sheets, and optionally Drive) as required to provide the features you enable.
5. Security
- Spreadsheet processing is performed locally after retrieval.
- Backup files stored in Google Drive inherit your Google account’s security settings. Avoid sharing the selected Drive Sync folder if it contains sensitive configuration.
6. Revoking Access
- You can revoke the application’s access at any time from your Google Account security settings (Third-party access).
- You can also remove the saved account inside the app to clear locally stored tokens.
